Leadership Landing

Leadership Landing™ was started with the purpose of helping leaders awaken great leadership within themselves and their organizations.

I started Leadership Landing™ in 2009. By drawing from my management experience in Fortune 500 companies, start-up consulting firms, and most recently as President of Great Place to Work® Institute, I set out to build a place where leaders could come for executive coaching, management training, and expertise in workplace transformation. Since 2009, Leadership Landing™ has worked with executives and companies ranging from 100 to 25000 employees, within industries as diverse as Public Accounting, Retail, Healthcare and Utilities. Where there is a vision and a commitment to be something better, Leadership Landing™ can help on the journey.


Our Founder

Our Founder

Prior to founding Leadership Landing™, Hal was President of Great Place to Work® Institute, the global research and consulting firm best known for creating the gold standard in workplace recognition; the annual FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For. Hal joined the Institute in 2004 as a consultant, and in 2006 was asked to be President of the company. Before joining Great Place to Work® Institute, Hal held leadership positions at The Center for Talent Retention, Manpower, and the Training Arts Institute, an organization that he founded.

Education/Certification

Hal’s undergraduate degree in music comes from SUNY Purchase NYC, and his graduate work at The Boston Conservatory was in music theory and conducting. Hal also has professional training in Buddhist Psychology and Advanced Meditation. Hal is a certified coach for the Zenger Folkman Extraordinary Leader 360 Assessment and is an Adjunct consultant with Great Place to Work ® Institute
